I find myself in a strange and wonderful world. I manage the Technology Department at an Urban Laboratory in the Arizona desert. My days are spent chasing a deeper understanding of the collective consciousness in community.
The “city organism” experiment has 70 residents “in the fish bowl” of observation. We balance personal lives, professional lives, and public lives.
My days begin surrounded by nature in my small 4 room apartment in “Camp.” Then it’s off to the cafe, office, or library to drink a tea and have various meetings with departments or visitors. I wear many hats of motivating an intelligent band of technologists in solving information, integration, and access issues. The experiments we do are growing increasingly relevant for urban solutions… So I’ve decided to start adding projects to this website.
